Live local art experience to be unleashed in The Yard
Art, music and video are set to collide on Saturday March 25 at The Yard, Old Dubbo Gaol with local musicians and filmmakers coming together to create a live art experience.
Projections featuring visual media created by Jack Randell and Peter Aland will adorn the walls accompanying the sounds of live music written and created in Dubbo - performed by Brandon Troutman, and local bands One Proud Monkey and Civil Hands.
The experience is centered around the release of Civil Hands debut album “Leave It All Behind” which has been receiving airtime on DCFM 88.9 - but is a celebration of homegrown media.
"...an experience of combined vision and sound that showcases the art we create in here Dubbo, set against the stunning backdrop of The Yard at the Old Dubbo Gaol,” says event organiser, Fred Randell.
Special musical guests will be featured throughout the night, including Justine Kuhner, Tas, Clinton Hoy, world percussion group, and a number of curated short film pieces will be projected between acts.
The event runs from 7-10pm, 25 March. Tickets are on sale now through 123 Tix for $10. The first 100 purchased will also receive a copy of the Civil Hands album, “Leave It All Behind”.
